We look into the causes of obesity or scientific basis how the obesity occurs. In obesity the number of fat cells remain the same. Only there is increase in the size. If at all something can happen, the natural methods or non surgical methods is that decrease in the size of the cell. For e.g. if they do exercise and do a diet then what happens is that the cells are shrunken. So if they discontinue this they will revert back, it will re-expand. We will see it to that as obesity has come back. It becomes a temporary solution for the obesity. Similarly lot of non surgical methods available are cold therapy, pressure therapy, heat therapy, steam therapy, laser therapy. Sometimes they use some vibrating machines. Any of these non surgical methods will not give results. First of all they are not scientific enough and the results are minimum and temporary. It cannot give the permanent solution. People prefer those non surgical methods just because of the fear of surgery. But one need not fear the surgery if they are in safe hands, means a plastic or cosmetic surgeon who is experienced is there or a safe setup is there or infrastructure and a good anaesthetist is there. So they need not worry about the problems associated. It can happen very occasionally. So thereby it is a safe procedure in terms of the role of the non surgical methods is limited and may not give value for the money.
